| BPTrends Forum - Australian Chapters EOY Wrap |
December 18th 2007 |
The enthusiasm and willingness of various businesses and Government departments to provide venues and host the BP Trends Chapter meetings during 2007 demonstrates the strength of the BPM community in Australia.
High calibre speakers, relevant topics and the opportunity to network and workshop ideas have seen the Chapter meetings well attended and membership continuing to grow. With Chapters in five states and one territory, we facilitated a total of 27 meetings over the year with attendance ranging from nine to 55!
Of course, these forums would not be possible if not for the local chairs who ably facilitate the meetings every second month at their respective locations, ensuring the meetings are valuable for all attendees. I would like to personally thank them for their continued commitment and support in what has been an eventful year for us.
So - "Thank You!" to:
Dennis Evans (Telstra Corporation) Melbourne Gaby Doebeli (QR) Brisbane Bryan Frew (Commonwealth Bank) Sydney Teri Jenkins (IP Australia) Canberra Steve Baker (WA Water Corporation) Perth Warwick Moyse (KEWB) Adelaide
We are of course extremely appreciative of the speakers and members who make the meetings a success by sharing their experiences, knowledge, and passion in an open and collaborative manner.
We would also like to extend our thanks to organisations such as William Buck Consulting, the Department of Human Services, BHP Billiton, IBM Australia, CBA, IP Australia, Australian Computer Society, WA Water Corporation, QR, Sydney University, ... for generously hosting and catering for our BPTrends Forums
