| New Business Models and the Environment - MELBOURNE Seminar |
May 12th 2008 |
Two overarching themes in my approach to performance improvement are context and sustainability. Processes and systems theory facilitate 'big picture' thinking and it is with this in mind that I bring your attention to a special event on how changing business models can impact upon environmental sustainability...
Sustainability is a topic of real interest to anyone involved in Performance Improvement. As Environmental Sustainability is becoming an economic and legislative imperative, many are recognizing the opportunity to leverage proven Business Process Improvement techniques to the emerging Resource Efficient Economy. Issues such as Carbon Tax and EREP will increase the attention paid to this area.
This Seminar by PricewaterhouseCoopers, Salesforce.com and GreenInnovation will discuss how visionaries are approaching these challenges and the value of rigour in creating new value.
