Business Process Expert
Texas - USA: SYSCO

SYSCO are seeking a business process expert to lead business design work on enterprise level strategic initiatives. These high profile initiatives are the foundation of SYSCO's long term success.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Work with senior executives leading these initiatives to define planned outcomes, and scope the work
- Serve as a business process design lead on business initiatives to plan and lead business process design efforts
- Design, validate and document "current state" and "future state" business processes
- Facilitate commitment for business process changes/improvements among stakeholders across the company
- Understand and apply SYSCO Common Dynamic Methods (SCDM), SYSCO's methodology for managing major business change initiatives
- Develop and promote Process Management techniques, tools and standards
- Deliver business process training
- Provide inputs to information technology solution design, organization design and change management planning

You will have:
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience leading large scale (up to $100 million +) business improvement/transformation initiatives that include design, documentation and optimization of business processes
- Experience tailoring and applying methodologies for managing large-scale change initiatives
- Strong facilitation and consensus building skills
- Willingness to challenge traditional thinking and not constrained by the "current state"
- Skills in the effective use of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint and Visio

Statistical Analyst/Modeller
Melbourne - AUSTRALIA: one of Australia's leading customer contact companies


Job Responsibilities include:
- Using historical contact data, you will provide all aspects of predictive analysis and data mining to improve profit margins and reduce operating costs
- You'll be directly involved in developing automation packages for continued operational use of models; you'll work collaboratively with database administrators to construct and maintain data warehouse structures as well as alongside data management specialists to improve data management and manipulation processes;
- Using your extensive data source knowledge, you'll program required data manipulations and simulations. You'll handle basic data mining preparation techniques in your sleep - outlier handling, recoding, non-linear transformations and aggregation
- Use your extensive modelling skills to perform factor & cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, regression and CHAID. You'll have knowledge of SAS or SPSS modelling tools and be able to work with telephony/CTI engineers to direct implementation of inbound and outbound contact handling models
- Work with business heads and key stakeholders to define and refine data and analytical requirements; you'll negotiate, influence and work collectively toward positive outcomes
- Share your expertise and experience in Statistics, Analysis and Modelling with more junior team members

You will have:
- At least five years' experience in a dedicated Statistics, Data Analysis, Data Mining or a specialised Business Analyst position
- A relevant Degree with Honours in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science with a maths focus
- At least 2 years as a user of SAS or SPSS. Preferably you will have experience using the Microsoft Analysis Services
- Expertise in at least one common statistical language
- Demonstrated skill in sophisticated and non-standard statistical modelling in consumer behaviour, economics or finance
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You'll be a great internal liaison; you'll be customer oriented and have a real passion for data, analysis and statistics
