Business Process Maturity Model (BPMM) Survey NOW OPEN

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Participate in this unique survey designed by Dr. John Alden - a key player in the OMG standardisation effort.

This survey will cover BPM-Maturity based on the OMG Business Process Maturity Model (BPMM) and other significant issues, questions and practices for organizations developing and expanding BPM programs. The designer of this survey is Dr. John Alden, Capability Measurement. CM was the sponsor and lead for the OMG standardization effort.

This inaugural BPMM survey will be conducted in the lead-up to Ark Group's Strategic BPM Connected Forum and the results will be unveiled at the event and interpreted by Dr. Alden during his International Keynote presentation. These survey results can be taken away and applied within your organization to assess your BPM initiatives or plans!

The OMG Business Process Maturity Model (BPMM)

The BPMM describes an evolutionary improvement path that guides organizations in moving from immature, inconsistent business activities to mature, disciplined processes. The BPMM consists of 5 stages of organizational maturity that represent plateaus in an organization's improvement journey. The BPMM orders these stages so that improvements at each stage provide a foundation on which to build improvements undertaken at the next stage. Thus, an improvement strategy drawn from the BPMM provides a roadmap for the continual improvement of business

As this survey is based on the OMG BPMM we recommend that you familiarise yourself with the construct of the BPMM (if you are not already) by reading OMG BPMM Summary

Note: I suggest you at least read the first few pages on the the "Maturity Levels in the Business Process Maturity Model" as the survey is structured around these levels. These are also represented in Figures 11.1 to 11.4 toward the end of the document.

Your participation in this survey will provide valuable insight into BPM Maturity using an Internationally recognised standard.
